Delhi Weather Update: Dense fog envelops national capital, 45 trains delayed

Delhi Weather Update:?A thick fog covered the national capital on Saturday morning, significantly reducing visibility and disrupting train services, officials reported. They mentioned that 45 trains were delayed due to the dense fog.

The weather department stated that Safdarjung recorded a minimum visibility of 50 meters between 12:30 am and 1:30 am, which later improved to 200 meters and remained at that level until 7:30 am.

Many areas experienced dense fog during the early morning hours.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.7 degree Celsius, which is typical for the season, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The weather department also forecast thunderstorms with rain throughout the day, with the maximum temperature expected to be around 15 degree Celsius.
